Announcement: TVGA Gamedays in October!

Postby emperor799 » Mon Sep 28, 2009 9:42 am

That's right, Gamedays!

We're happy to announce that our friends at Dicehead Games Chattanooga, Intergalactic CC&G in Etowah, and Smashed Bug Games in Chatsworth, GA will begin offering TVGA Gamedays in addition to the Dicehead Games Cleveland events.

All TVGA Gamedays are still FREE! Each gameday occurs on a separate weekend, and each will be offering different events. Each venue has different store hours & availability, so slot times will be different depending on where you're playing. See warhorn for exact times. Sign-ups for all gamedays are available at our Warhorn site, linked in my sig & location information can be found there as well.

Our new friends at Smashed Bug & Dicehead Chatty could use another GM or two, so please sign up to judge an adventure & help them out!

This month's schedule is as follows:

October 3rd - Smashed Bug Games

October 10th - Dicehead Games Chattanooga

October 17th - Dicehead Games Cleveland

October 24th - Intergalactic CC & G

Log into warhorn and check out what we're offering!

(You'll notice we've brought back the old Gaming Schedule Calendar to make scheduling easier on you. )

October 24th - Intergalactic CC & G
Pathfinder Society

For those who don't know much about the Pathfinder Society (PFS for short) be sure to check out the following.

PFS uses the recently released Pathfinder RPG from Paizo. It's sort of D&D 3.75.

You can orderthe massive 576 page hardback from Paizo for about $50 or order the PDF for only $10.

But if you don't want to spend any money at this time you can check out the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Reference Document. Its like the D&D SRD and has everything you need to play right on line.

To make a character you will also need to register on the Paizo site and download the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play for info on making a PFS character and how the Society works. Registering will give you your own Pathfinder Society Player number. Its Free, quick and easy. You can find everything you need at the Pathfinder Society Organized Play website.

I will have everything on hand for you to play if you don't have the time or inclination to register on line.

See Ya There!!

Hi,

The Cleveland Gameday is coming up this weekend and I just wanted to be clear that the Tymanther adventures have some nice synergy with their story award. TYMA1-2 & 1-4 are the ones in the 4-7 level band, and I'll try to offer them in future gamedays.

You can read more about Tymanther in the Forgotten Realms Player's Guide on p.124-125.
