I don't think you had Lightwater Bay so It will not change your deck too much.

I was going to get a Kali-Ma for a Goblin deck but now it won't work

But this will just change the Lion to a mid game military instead of a faster one.

Lion is still going to do well though. There was 3 Lion in Top 4 at Vegas Kotei. (this is before the rule change goes into effect on April 24th.)

Dicehead is getting in a Prerelease kit.

Any word on what weekend the prerelease is? l5r.com seems spotty on info, including their event search.

It is actually a release kit. L5R does not currently do prerelease, although they are planning to in the future.

There is a new learn to play set coming out this summer and from the L5R website there is going to be some really good cards in the decks.
(Traveling Peddler, Expendable Resources, Famous Bazaar, Chugo Seido, Final Duty, Kami Unleashed, Sneak Attack, Low Stance, Unpredictable Strategy, Laying in Wait, Will, Justly Earned Victory...) All cards that most decks can use and were hard to come by.
