Makes sense...as long as physical albums are still forthcoming.

Also, I picked up a Great Lakes Swimmers and Burlap to Cashmere CD with my massive amounts of McKay's credit.

Great Lakes Swimmers = good background music for working at your computer, not so much for driving. It's soft folk acoustic.

Anybody Out There? from Burlap to Cashmere had to grow on me after a couple of listens. Sound is close to country, but not quite. Some world music influences, especially in terms of guitar style. If you don't like Christian rock, there's a couple of songs that you will probably hate.

I can't find it on Youtube and I'm not sure the sample on Amazon MP3 is really enough, but Chad, you need to listen to Scenes off of that record. I'm not even sure what the song's supposed to be about, but I'm pretty sure you would like it.

The techno cover of the Full House theme is... well, it's a techno cover of the Full House theme. You have to decide for yourself whether that's a good or bad thing, I guess.

Yeah, I like the Gothsicles. I first heard them on one of the AMV Hell videos.

Weird Al's single "Whatever You Like" just released on iTunes. I previewed it, but refuse to support the Fruit Company.

Since when did Weird Al become primarily a rap/R&B artist?

FWIW, after looking up Burlap to Cashmere on Amazon MP3, I ended up downloading the album Straightjacket from their lead singer, Stephen Delopoulos. It's more like standard folk music than BtC but I really like it.

I'm not sure what you're implying.

I started playing Dance Dance Revolution X.

There is a remix of a song called 30 Lives by The Motion Sick, which appears to be a love song based around the Konami code. (It's a little more heavily used in the DDR remix.)

Also, DDRX has a song from Gurren Lagann called "Trust." With video.

Suicide pact.

Nah, I don't really see myself doing anything like that. As much as I hate my life sometimes, death is scary and permanent.

Now, I might do something like that if I had completely certainty it would fail. Cry for attention and all.

But back to the topic at hand: I beat the Gurren Lagann song on Expert. I'm pretty sure this means Chad has to worship me or something.

When Kate decided to move back down here and marry him.

Team Everyone Else. (1) What I have since come to call the few single people in the group. When everyone else breaks up into couples (say, for team games or whatever), we get stuck on a team by ourselves. Hence the name. (2) A symbol of my inherent failure as a human being.
